We've been coming to Point O Vue on and off since 2011. You've probably read all about how interesting Winding Bay is with its combination of wildness and protected water. Point O Vue 's layout and placement make for the perfect place for a holiday. It's up from the beach just enough that there is often a breeze which keeps the bugs to a minimum. Depending on which way the wind is blowing, you can eat on the porch in the back or the front or on the second floor deck and be outdoors all day. The beach is a thirty second walk from the house. Indoors, the placement of the bedrooms -- main one downstairs, two twin (which can be converted to king on request) on opposite ends of the second floor-- allows for privacy for three couples. There is also a murphy bunk bed in the first floor office. The combination of the great room and many outdoor eating spaces, provides for great times together. The balance is perfect. Eleuthera is not for everyone. We are not talking luxury resort, but VERY comfortable family home on an island where you create your own outside entertainment. There are kayaks and paddle boards and endless wild places to explore on foot. Bring your binoculars and look for Great Lizard Cuckoos, Limpkins, and Kirtland's Warblers.
