Columbus Carey is our property manager, problem solver, story teller, general fix-it man and dear\u00a0friend. Ask him how he got the name \u201cColumbus\u201d! He knows everything about the island and can help you with\u00a0just about anything. A great source of local information, Columbus might stop by to say hello to see if you have any\u00a0questions or need information. He and his wonderful wife, Delphine, live in the white house with green trim just\u00a0south of the Tarpum Bay shopping center across from Kinky\u2019s Shell station. Delphine works at \u201cBerts for the Best\u201d, the local grocery\u00a0store in Tarpum Bay. Columbus has our gardener come out on a regular basis\u00a0to clean the beach and landscape (he typically comes around 7:30 a.m.).<\/p>\n

Tessa Hunt is our wonderful housekeeper, and another fantastic source of local knowledge and\u00a0recommendations.\u00a0She can pick up groceries\u00a0for you prior to your arrival, which we recommend, particularly if you are arriving late Saturday or on a Sunday, as grocery\u00a0stores are closed on Sundays. Tessa\u00a0will meet you at the house on arrival, be there the morning of your departure and works four hours per day on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays*. Tips are appreciated at the end of your stay.<\/p>\n

Tessa is happy to make dinner for you at your request. She can cook a true bahamian dinner that is delicious, fun and wonderfully caloric! Dinner can be prepared beforehand and delivered, or Tess will cook and serve dinner at the house for you – it’s up to you. Give her as much notice on your dinner requests\u00a0as you can.<\/p>\n
