Eleuthera….the 110 mile needle in the Family Islands. The photo shows the southern part of the island. From this shot Winding Bay is about half way down and Lighthouse Beach is at the southern tip of the island. The settlements (villages) of Palmetto Point, Savannah Sound, Tarpum Bay, Rock Sound, Wemyss Bight, Millars and Bannermantown are along the way.
